Dunleavy Irish Dance prides itself on not only teaching Irish dancing to it's students, but the history and culture of Ireland as well. Dancers learn to sing Irish songs as a method of understanding the dance music. Classes are named after the different counties in Ireland, and each class studies their county and takes pride in what makes this region special and unique.

While our dancers are highly motivated and do well in competition, the highest importance is always placed on how the dancers treat themselves, teammates, and the community. Dunleavy students are continuously organizing outreach projects to benefit the community here in Rochester, NY; whether it be a food drive, monetary donation, visiting the sick, or volunteering their time, Dunleavy students are always excited and ready to lend a helping hand.

St. Mary's Place
Mary’s Place empowers refugees of all faiths and nationalities through long-term, neighborhood-based services. By collaborating with diverse community partners and dedicated volunteers, we help families to navigate their new lives, and Rochester to embrace its human rights legacy. Dunleavy donates non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, and clothes for women and children as well as school supplies and children's books for the English for Speakers of Other Languages program.

Bethany House
Bethany House gives disenfranchised women in Rochester, New York the tangible supplies and emotional support they need to get back on their feet. We are proudly at the service of women facing homelessness, domestic violence, incarceration, addiction, and mental and physical illness. Every visitor is treated with the respect and dignity she deserves. The Bethany House is run by the Sisters of St. Joseph and is a Catholic Worker house of hospitality. Dunleavy donates non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, and clothes for women and children.

Refugees Helping Refugees
Refugees Helping Refugees is a non-profit organization that serves refugees of Western New York. We seek to foster the growth, self-determination, and self-reliance of Rochester’s refugee community by making them agents of their own advancement. Dunleavy donates school supplies and children's books for the English for Speakers of Other Languages program.
