Open Championship
A dancer competes as an Open Champion after achieving three 1st place medals
as a Preliminary Champion in one calendar year.
Open Championships is the highest level of competition, congratulations!
Open Champion dancers automatically qualify to compete in the Oireachtas and at Nationals.
In order to compete at Worlds they must qualify at Oireachtas, Nationals or All Irelands.
If a dancer competes at Worlds and achieves a World Medal
they automatically qualify to compete at Worlds the following year.
